Well, a lot has happened since the last time I posted on my blog 15 months ago! One of the highlights was becoming a published author! My debut novel about a jaded immortal woman and a time traveler who fall in love across the centuries was released on July 14th with Atria Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, and is available in hardcover, dual narrated audiobook, and eBook in the US and Canada wherever books are sold.

I visited New York City for the first time as an adult, and just happened to be there during the coldest week of the year! We still walked across the Brooklyn Bridge, and the fact that it was restaurant week made up for it. I touched the Chrysler Building, cried in front of Starry Night, and got to see Hadestown on Broadway. Can’t wait to go back!

I turned 43 this year and celebrated in London and Bath with my family and a caterpillar cake. Getting to visit St. Paul’s, a setting at the heart of All We Have is Time, was a highlight!

Sent my eldest off to college, and visited the National Aviary in Philadelphia to celebrate their years of hard work and their love of birds.

And since July, I’ve been celebrating my book launching into the world, seeing it on shelves, and meeting some lovely readers out in the world!

As it turns into fall, I’ve been balancing promoting All We Have is Time, and drafting, editing, and rewriting my current work in progress. It’s so exciting (and a little draining) to go through this debuting process of all new experiences, and I love meeting new people and talking to readers and booksellers, but nothing beats the feeling of working on a new creative project and seeing where it takes you.
